MathLib.sinh()

MathLib.sinh() calculates the hyperbolic sine of a number. \[ \text{MathLib.sinh}(x) = \sinh(x) \]

Examples

To calculate the hyperbolic sine of 2 type: MathLib.sinh(2);

Specification

MathLib.sinh accepts one argument. Any additional arguments will be ignored. The type of the argument should be number. For other argument types see the unary function specification.
  1. MathLib.sinh(NaN) = NaN
  2. MathLib.sinh(+0) = +0
  3. MathLib.sinh(-0) = -0
  4. MathLib.sinh(+∞) = +∞
  5. MathLib.sinh(-∞) = -∞
  6. otherwise MathLib.sinh(x) = hyperbolic sine of x
