MathLib.exp()

MathLib.exp() is a implementation of the exponential function. \[ \text{MathLib.exp}(x) = \exp(x) = e^x \]

Examples

To evaluate the exponential function at 2 type: MathLib.exp(2);

Specification

MathLib.exp accepts one argument. Any additional arguments will be ignored. The type of the argument should be number. For other argument types see the unary function specification.
  1. MathLib.exp(NaN) = NaN
  2. MathLib.exp(+∞) = +∞
  3. MathLib.exp(-∞) = +0
  4. otherwise MathLib.exp(x) = ex

Implementation

MathLib uses the built-in JavaScript implementation Math.exp.
