MathLib.arcoth()

MathLib.arcoth() calculates the inverse hyperbolic cotangent of a number. \[ \text{MathLib.arcoth}(x) = \operatorname{arcoth}(x) \]

Specification

MathLib.arcoth accepts one argument. Any additional arguments will be ignored. The type of the argument should be number. For other argument types see the unary function specification.
  1. MathLib.arcoth(NaN) = NaN
  2. MathLib.arcoth(+∞) = +0
  3. MathLib.arcoth(-∞) = -0
  4. MathLib.arcoth(1) = +∞
  5. MathLib.arcoth(-1) = -∞
  6. MathLib.arcoth(x) = NaN if x > -1 and x < 1
  7. otherwise MathLib.arcoth(x) = inverse hyperbolic cotangent of x
